What's the width of our frames? And is it a perfect fit with the width of the Vic k member?

I cant remember the exact width of the frame at this moment and im not near it to measure but yes it fits just about perfect, the bolt holes that hold the crossmember in are right at center of the trucks frame rails, only thing is you gotta cut out all the trucks old crossmember and spring buckets

man that looks awesome!!! what gas tank are you using? and when u made the spacers for the front did u just use some dom tubing? oh ya how hard is it to get the front end out of the crown vic, do you have to pull all the sheetmetal off? the reason i ask is because i know of a 05 crown vic at the junk yard thats perfect but ill have to pull it myself.

The gas tank is for a mid 60's mustang, found it on ebay from a place that sells mustang restoration parts, and picked it up for 128 bucks and it came with the pickup and fuel level float, and it has the drain plug also all new, and i just used some 3/4 sch40 black pipe that you can get from hardware or plumbing stores

Taking the front clip out of the cv wasnt too bad, got it done in less than an hour with the car still on my trailer, just has 4 main bolts through the frame, which are a pain cause once you get the nuts off the top you have to unthread the bolts out from the bottom and they are about a foot long, an impact makes it a whole lot easier and faster, besides those bolts you got the rear of the lower control arms bolted to the frame and the steering column, sway bar, brake lines, not too bad to do cause it all comes out in bascally one peice

No the motor wasnt in the cv, it would prolly be pretty hard to pull the ifs out with it in there cause the motor mounts to the ifs cross member, but im sure its possible to do just a PITA
