purchase advice

Im in the market to buy a used truck im looking for an f250 diesel what would you all recommend for a truck looking to spend under 20k what if any years had engine transmission problems?

03-07 have great transmissions.

Unless someone has used the wrong tuner. Then that is on them.

Having bought one in the past year, Scan gauge as suggested in the link is probably top of my list. When I buy again I will be carrying one to plug in.
