I doubt the middle of the rack would get hot enough to melt anything my buddy has stacks and they really dont get that hot i wouldnt thing that littke of heat would transfer to the middle and be hot enoigh to do damage

the heat from the stacks will make the rest of the rack hot enough to melt plastic after a prolonged run.
