2011 f350 electrical issue
I just bought a 2011 F350 King Ranch with diesel engine.
The instument lights on the steering wheel, 4 wheel drive switch, light switch, and upfitters don't light up. The respective fuses were good so I took it to the dealer and said some wiring was faulty. Thinks the short is coming from the radio (has Sirius and Navi)which all and illumination works fine. Wants to charge me $800 for the electrial fix and another $800 to replace the radio. Is this correct that the power supply comes through/associated with the radio? Couldn't these 4 switches just be rewired to a new fuse/ relay?
