Mil1ion, right on with the Newcastle. A good beer local to the Boston area that I drink quit a bit because it is on tap is Harpoon. But as it has been said the best beer is FREE beer And might I ask why Miller is not in the poll??? when we go off fishing for a week we bring Miller High Life gotta love that(and it is the beer of choice at the Moose lodge#2485)

I don't drink but there is a local brewery here that brews Moose Drool, Slow Elk, Trout Slayer, and something with a grizzly on it. If you live anywhere near here its the most popular stuff on tap.

I am of Irish descent, so my first choice will always be whiskey. Jim Beam is my favorite. For beer, anything Miller makes... Miller Lite, MGD, or Miller High Life. Beyond that, there's not much in the way of beer that I like. Quit drinking Bud as soon as I got out of high school, never did get thirsty enough for PBR or Old Mil, and flat out don't like Coors.

Pan Head classic ale, at 7.3% alcohol, have a few too many bottles, and you will be out leaking in the driveway like an old Harley, too.

Other beers,

Here in Europe, belgian beers are the best. Maybe you know some in USA like LEFFE, MAREDSOUS, WESTMALLE, STELLA...
German beers are also good.

My favorite is Miller High Life but MGD is also consumed on a regular basis.

I haven't been a truly happy beer drinker for some time now, ever since they stopped making Fife & Drum Dark- best dark beer EVER! If anyone else remembers it and could recommend something similar, I'd greatly appreciate it. Beyond that, there's always Guinness, Molson Export, or most of the Sam Adams brews. But LORDY, do I miss Fife & Drum!
