Vacuum line, no start issue
Once the fire was out we did a damage assessment and a bunch if the vacuum lines were melted. We fixed and replaced all but 1, the one that goes to the fuel tanks... Can't find the connecting line behind the motor and back to the tank. Regardless of that, the truck started and we ran it up the street, no issues, went to do a 3 pt turn, put it in reverse, it died, and then wouldn't start again. We have fuel pressure, and spark. Did a deep dig in search of wires that were melted and found nothing. All grounds still in tact. The motor turns over strong, but no start. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Oh btw I pulled codes and it showed none

The "stock" vacuum system was engineered as a balanced system (small restrictive lines, check valves, bleed off, funneled down connectors, etc.) and if you haven't "matched" the system exactly, you'll have problems.
Just my thought,
Bob
