Got my first X in February. I have a missing weatherstrip on driver side. It runs from bottom of "A" post up along windshield to "C" post at right rear door. Ford wants about $90 for one that is 14 inches too short. They say it is the new replacement part. I measured passenger side and it should be approx 91 inches long. Where can I get this replacement weatherstrip?
FYI: most people are paying $50-60 for that stripping. check out Tasca Ford online. They have great prices and great shipping. I dislike using my local Dealership because they mark up prices 30-40% vs. the online prices
best of luck. I'm betting you were given a rear door seal
This seal goes from bottom of windshield on A post up to roof and then. Ack to C post. It's not the one that goes around door opening. I'll check it out. Thanks
That's another problem. Not many junked X's around here and due to changing state and EPA laws, not many junkyards around anymore. With this one missing, there is a gap between doors and. Body that will catch alot of ice and snow this winter. Don't want doors froze shut.
Just picked up one today. Dealer admitted that the first one was mid packaged. They FINALLY got it right. Thanks anyway. Someone else listed on here they needed one.
