brake light

i have a question. In my truck 86 f350 ever since i got i cant figure out why the brake light dosnt come on. Now the emergency brake goes down and works but the clikcer thing that holds it on doesnt work so if you could help me out there let me know but anyways when i push the ebrake in the light doesnt come on i check the bulb also fasten seat belt light doesnt come on either if that means anything

You've probably blown the fuse that powers them. The Haynes manual shows which one it is.

To get the e-brake pedal to lock, just push the release handle back in.
