COOLANT TEMP GUAGE

I am thinking of installing a gauge for my coolant temperature. I know where the coolant temperature sensor is located, but how do you tap into the sensor circuit to then attach to a gauge on the pillar post?
Do you just electrically attach your gauge wiring to the sensor wiring?

Thanks guys,

I would like to know how to do this also. Does anyone know how to install an aftermarket temp gauge?

You do not "tap into" the existing circuit. The sending unit must be matched to the gauge.....unless you know the specs on the oem sending unit & the new gauge...IMHO, I would buy a gauge & sending unit, then install it in a separate location (such as a cuto-out in the upper radiator hose).
