If you weren't so far, I'd just sell you the one I have. I'll see if I can take some pictures of it. I'd check some junk yards. I believe some of the camper specials had two tanks.
Don't try to get one out of a junk yard, I'd rather put in a new one. If you are just looking to get an idea and the type and model that one is in, GREAT. I have been looking at "Tanksinc" and they have a possible one that will fit. Of course some fitting, bending, etc. will be needed.
I have a couple of side covers to conceal the gas cap, I'll have to decide on where it will be located, I will have to cut into the box.
You can get a 22 gallon tank new that fits a '70 Mustang for not a lot of money. Somewhere there is a write up on the install by Bobby Ford. I did it and it looks great not having a filler cap sticking out the cab and a potential explosion at your back.
Gas tsnk

I am in St. Paul, Mn. Can you tell who and where I can get one?
we are in the same page that i have problems with too if you know where can i get mine let me know i am in fort oglethorpe ga
I too would like to move my in-cab tank to under the bed... but for some reason, my work blocks the fordification web site...?/ maybe they think it is X rated or something..?/ I will look at it at home...
Other than the '70 mustang, is there somebody building them specifically for a bump..?
The Mustang tank between the rails at the rear, or find something else that you like and use it. There is so little room behind the seat to gain, that leaving the tank can be much less work in the long run.
Yeah John, I've looked at it, and you are right, there's not much room to be gained, but getting the tank out of the cab, and between the frame rails, will be something of a safety issue. Also, since I have a pair of Mercedes 3 way bucket seats, it will allow the center console, to move back some, and my coffee mug won't interfere with the shifter, in 1st and 4th gears... mostly, it will be another small project, taking up some of my retirement time.. which most of us like to do, or we would not be fooling around with old iron.. and on this forum..
Take care amigo.. and I am still watching that hood latch conversion thread...
