I've beeing doing some looking around and I can't seem to find any legal spots in Michigan to go mudding/2-tracking/offroading unless you know someone with some property. Which I unfortunately don't know.
Does anyone know of any spots without having to go out of state or way up north?
there are plenty of ORV routes and state land to play around on... this will get you started: DNR - ORV/ATV Trail Maps the 2-tracking/offroading is pretty easy to find the further north you go
See that's my issue. The closest place to me is just over a 2 hr drive. People around here say that there is other spots locally yet they refuse to let me in on their little secrets.
Where are you located in MI? I live on the outer edge of Midland, and after about a 10 minute drive north I'm in the sticks.... lots of state land and 2-tracks.... gets pretty messy out there in the spring when everything melts.
I'm down in waterford so there ain't a whole lot of boonies around me unless you wanna do some less then legal off roading
I have a buddy that has some property about an hour or so from me and he has a small little pond and some 2-tracks on the small lot. It's not a lot but its something to see if my truck will even make it
