302 overheating

302 overheating
A year ago I replaced the heads on my early Torino 302 block with `96 5 litre mustang`s. It ran hotter but seemed ok. Now I`m losing coolant slowly though no brown or foam in the oil, laser gun shows normal temps, no moisture anywhere. Is there a steam hole issue with Ford small blocksÉ..this engine is in a `49 PU and used only for rod runs etc. Any ideas welcome.
