cam replacement

Well i took a look at my lifters the other day and boy were they looking pretty hashed and i have a stock cam set up so i decided with how cheap you can get a nice cam and lifter kit to order up a crane cam. Ive helped my buddy install his new cam when we rebuilt his engine but the engine shop did the cam bearings. how hard is it to do the bearings and how many of you even replace then when you put a new cam it depending on how the cam looks.

I've changed cams without replacing cam bearings. Just be cautious about not chewing up the bearings with the cam journals when you remove/replace the cam.

so pretty much if the cam journals arent all screwed up and you are very cautious when replaceing and taking out the old cam everything should be fine because the cam bearings i have now should only have 55000 on them.
