Looking around and looking around, Im thinking about settling with Clays set up. Is there any problems with these gauges? Does anyone have actual pictures of it in your truck? Pictures on a site to me tend to look different that reality. Ive always been a fan of auto-meter gauges, but not knowing if I need mechanical, or what not, I really lost.
This is about the cheapest I can find on gauges since I have no clue what to look for. Now going to talk to Clay and see if its possible to add the quad gauge pillar instead of the three so I can have an extra space for something later on.
Was going to do an exhaust first, but reading most of you guys post it seems the gauges should be the start to everything.
Any input, opionions, or other options are welcome to be heard.
I would not call that settling, ISSPROs are some of the best gauges out there. Most of the pics you will see on this forum of gauges are the ISSPRO setups.
Clay sells Autometer as well if that's what you preferred.
You could do exhaust before gauges, but definitely gauges before tuning. Gauges are good no matter what though tuned or not, so that you can understand and see what is going on better. For the 4th gauge if that's what you did, I recommend either a fuel pressure gauge, or a scan gauge with fuel pressure sender added, great option that will also allow code pulling and some live diagnostics, as well as BUZZ tests.

Didnt mean for it to sound bad when I said settle with his. Ive seen guys post they were good. When I said settle I basically meant it as its already a kit with everything I need, so I wont have to pick out different pieces from different places on the site and hope im ordering the right ones. Like I said mechanical and what the other is called, I dont know which ones I need on each gauge. No other sites I have seen have already had it setup as all gauges and pod in one order. Thats all I meant by it, not that I didnt want to go to him and its my last resort.
But after straighting that out. The interior color for the pod, where is the color code I will need to tell him? Door seal sticker or what? And im guessing ordering these the best to match the dash will be all black with the red pointer right?
Thats what I was thinking about after I get the inital gauges thats why im going to see if I can get the quad for the extra hole. Have the ones that you guys reccomended, then get like a multi-gauge I guess you would put it, or something to that extent.
Thats what I did, added the terminator scan gauge in the forth hole. Its more exspensive but worth it. If your not going to fill the forth hole now I'd just go with the three hole package.

Yea I know the pods arent expensive, but since im planning on adding in the near future, I dont see the point of wasting money buying 2 different pods. Just my thinking.
Thanks, thats what I was looking for? You have any daytime pictures? The picture on the site I think just looks cheap, but in the truck picture looks a lot better.
Luck you I'm sitting in my truck waiting to clock in.
I get lucky every once in a while. Thanks. Those look a lot better than what I thought. Talking to one of my friends that drives a cummins and hes running auto-meter gauges (he knows everything about vehicles), and he said if he had a chance to change to the ISS pro gauges he would in a heartbeat. So I guess thats what Ill be getting.
So now on to the color I need. Where is the tag that has the interior color code? I have a 00 F250 4x4 Lariat.
An empty hole looking at you till you fill it would be terrible. Plus it interfers with the sun visor. Fill it now or don't buy the four hole. My 2 cents.

Yea your prob right. I can alway go 3, then when I order that I can put it on a steering column pod so I can still use my visor.
