Hi folks,

I am brand new to the forum AND to Ford! My dad sold Chevys/GM for more than 20 years so Ford was out of the question! He is no longer with us sadly but I am now allowed to have a Ford! I have a big camper and needed more "heft" and power than my 1500 Chevy would provide so I am now a F350 owner! It's a 2008 bought used but appears to be in decent shape. I keep finding the little "dings" which drive me crazy though!

Anyway, a piece of the dash is missing. I have some photos but can't post them. It appears to be merely some sort of a cap or covering but I do not know what to call it or how to look for it online. It is on the passenger side right next to the vent for the front defroster. Appears to be one on the other side as well. It's about 4" X 4" square. Can someone tell me what it is, where I might find it and what it covers? Be interested to know why it might have been off in the first place.
