After an 8 year brain fade to the Ram side I'm back in Blue

Geeze seems like yesterday oh, ok 2004 when we went from our 02 Ford Windstar (always was a Ford guy and have owned a 69 Mach 1 428 CJ, 3 Fox stangs and currently have a 1980 Cougar XR7 with a 472 BB making a few hp also have an 09 Escape 4x4, 94 F150 2wd and a 94 Explorer 4x4 4dr) Over the past 8 years have run an 04 Ram 1500 quadcab 4x4 and then an 08 2500 Megacab 4x4 both hemi powered. Finally a deal on a loaded 2011 F250 Lariat FX4 crewcab with a 6.2 came along and well I am back in the Ford saddle this afternoon at 3 when we pick it up. Looking forward to having a nice truck for a change.

Welcome back, Johnny. Congratulations on the new ride.

I turned to the dark side once too.... Chevrolet Suburban.

Hopefully, I am cured now.

Good luck!

I would post a few pics but it seems I have no rights to as I have no insert icon on the advanced page.

Put them in your gallery, then post the links to the gallery... when editing the gallery, under each pic, there will be "[Forum Codes - For displaying image in forum posts]" - copy and past the Full Size Image code into a post.

Any observations on your 8 years of Dodge ownership? I'm not asking you to trash Dodge - just tell what was better/worse from a design and execution standpoint.

Don't feel bad. I went thru a Ram phase, too. Had an '01 Extended Cab and '04 Quad Cab both 4.7's. I was pleased with the performance from the small V8.

How long did it take for your dash to disintegrate? Took mine about 3 years. They aren't bad trucks as long as you don't work them, tow anything or want a smooth ride.
