Have '98 E-150 Conversion Van. Hot-Cold Temp selector will not move flap door in heater duct. Where do I find flap door and is it easy to get at? Wife whant to travel, but need heat?
The problem is probably not the door itself (unless it is broke which I doubt) but the electronic blend door actuator that moves it. You may also have a bad switch on the dash.
To do this yourself will require a good manual so you know what and how to check the various components.

Just for safe measure I would check the door, mine broke and I changed the switch on the dash, and checked everything but that!
Had me stumped for about a week until my friend said"Check the door!" He was right (for Once) I used some epoxy to fix the problem, still holding 2 years now"But I reccomend Replacement,,Im just CHEAP!"
