Going with one piece door glass; did you have to use a different window regulator?

options

With the kit I bought from the company listed earlier in the thread you get a longer track attached to the glass (bottom) so the stock regulator works great, I opted for the non power set up so I just used my stock stuff. A power window option is also available thru the same company. Very nice local folks (so cal)

Ryan, I have to tell you that I think you are going to have one of the finest '57's on the planet. And Mike is doing an excellent job of making it happen.
Did you guys have success with the sway bar?
Also, I noticed that '57 Ranchero in the background of the shop. One of my favorites(among many ).

Well you saw the pieces we had made, we just havent made any adjustment with the sway bar yet, pics to come, just having two projects at the same time nothing gets done fast, we have been working on the 1973 Mustang quarter panels molded to the 66 Coupe fender, so that is taking most of the time now, Have a great weekend

57 Ranchero

The Ranchero was a quick flip for the shop owner, bought it local in CA with little to no rust then made it run and drive and sent it to Texas for a tidy little profit

back and forth

well just puttin stuff on takin stuff off, I have to mock up the front end so that I can route the AC lines and hide everything I want to hide under the hood. I also need to check the clearances for the inner fender wells etc. Putting the bed on and off trying to make the body line perfect from the bed line all the way thru the fender, UGHHH!!!

Still need to POR 15 under the cab etc

Here are some pics with the front end mocked up

Oh yeah and I am playin with the mods we are gonna do to the hood, this is a practice hood

stay tuned

been a while

Well it has been quite some time since I have posted, new job assignment has kept me quite busy but I do get to work on the truck every so often, I just havent had time to post pics or even take them lol. I took some pics today after reading the other Ryans thread with the F1, all I had was my Cell phone so the pics mat be weird

Work includes the mock up of the floor trans pan to accommodate the 5 speed, welded in today so no longer removable

Mocked up gas pedal using a 73 mustang mount, more or less lol

And iddit column mounted with new one piece floor plate

Vintage air AC system is in (ended up ordering the mock up box in order to get the tabs correct, if anyone needs to borrow let em now, I have all 3 styles)

Brake booster mounted, still need braided line (ordered)

And decided on route for wiring as well

Still trying to perfect the sway bar as well

here are some pics, they look smaller than usual on photobucket, I hope you can see em?

Enjoy

Brake booster

Booster 2, u can see throttle cable as well

trans hump

gas pedal n steering plate

Hopefully the pics turn out and hopefully I will be posting more?

Oak

PS
Perl you out there? How is that Comet Coming along?
