I think I'm gonna go with ss ultra 9007 in the headlights and the regular ss 9145 in the fogs.

I'm sure you know this already or will be reminded when you read the instructions (yeah right LOL), but don't handle the bulbs and before installing, wipe them off (I use paper towels) with rubbing alcohol....another member suggested clear silicone on the seams of the lights and that isn't a bad idea one bit either. Only the thinnest coat is needed and would never even be seen.

When i installed my fogs, i believe there are three bolts on each and only two on each side survived. I didn't sweat it and didn't bother drilling, tapping, rigging, or anything. They have held with two bolts for years without issue. Suggest plenty of your favorite PB Blaster in advance.

You just looked at your factory lights and tried to set your news ones just like they were?

When I have to handle the bulbs I use latex gloves and "wash" my hands with some alcohol

Great positive grip - you can handle bulbs easily and no worries about getting anything on them.

This is a great post I am on the fence on whether to go Silverstars or put in HID

Do you put the alcohol on your latex gloves or just put it on your hands before you put the gloves on? Any old rubbing alcohol and latex gloves work?

I put the gloves on and then wash - regular rubbing alcohol works fine

Regular latex gloves to? I have heard hid lights are way better but I don't feel like haveing to do any kind of wiring or relays I just wanted a plain old "plug and play" setup so I'm going with ss ultras for headlight and regular ss for fog light

I got a set of low beam on the bike from DDM it was plug and play no relays

Investigating them for set up on truck

In the mean time will probably go with the SS set up
