Well, about an hour after I posted the above, my attorney's office called again to inform me that the opposing attorney got called in for jury duty. So the mediation has been postponed until October 4th. On another matter, I was supposed to get paid today, and it was not deposited in my account, so I sent them an email to find out why. This may or may not be my last check from unemployment. Still trying to find out if I get that last extension. They have setup a phone interview for the 19th of next week. I guess I will find out then. Going to get very tight if I lose that unemployment income before my settlement check arrives.
Anyway, Happy Thirsty Thursday NorCal FTE! I am going to take a Que from the Nevada chapter, and start asking a question of the day to liven up this chapter a bit. I figure I will start off with an easy one. Since we have some race fans in here, I figure the first one should be race related. So..
Who is your favorite race car driver, past or present?
Yeah I kind of figured Tony Stewart would be your answer Hank.
Okay, today's question is similar.
Who is your favorite baseball player, past or present.
Mine would be Willie McCovey. I don't watch TV now because these apartments have no cable, and we have no convertor box or rabbit ears. Before I left the house though I was able to watch quite a bit of Giants games, and if I had to choose a favorite now, it would be a toss up between Posey and Lincecum.
No one else wants to jump in so I`ll say Randy Johnson. The big unit was from here (Livermore).
Side note: Arizona Diamondback pitcher Brad Bergesen went to Foothill high in Pleasanton (my H.S) who pitched against the Giants last night.
