I think the Perry fair or the AG expo is soon..

 

The North GA State Fair is fixing to start next week. It's at Jim R Miller park in Marietta. I think opening day is Thursday the 20th.

Hope everyone is had a great weekend, cold, rainy and just plain nasty here. Was suppose to fly to the states already but we have been delayed. Hopefully tomorrow !!!!

Hi Tim, we have the GA Mountain Fair in July - but there is a festival of some sort in one of the nearby towns every weekend thru the end of October.

They are calling for up to 3-4" of rain here today...

The leaves are already turning, I don't see our 'peak leaf season' making it to the traditional 2nd week of October this year. I'll post a pic later if the sun shines bright enough to take one.

One of my best friends is in the hospital in Murphy. She had a cold and sent her COPD into a tailspin. She left the ER Thursday after they wanted to admit her (I owe my best friend/her husband a swift kick in the *** for that). After being told NOT to come around and get sick with what they had - I went anyway on Saturday. It only took a minute to convince her it was time to go back... Her Oxygen was down to 77 and blood pressure was HIGH - they admitted her pretty rapidly. Please pray for her and if you smoke, for God's sake PLEASE STOP!!!!

 

Good Morning All, I know how you feel on the rain delay. Sky, your friend is in our prayers. My wife had a brain anurisium two years ago due to smoking for over 30 years. Shes back to normal. We were lucky to find a great doctor in Savannah to take care of her. If people only thought about the risks of smoking before they started.
Anyway hope everybody has a GREAT day and GREAT week.

Thanks for the update on the leaves. I really hadn't been looking yet cause I thought it was too early. I will have to be scheduling some weekend trips North for photo opportunities. I really enjoy shooting at the state parks up there in the fall.


On another note, anyone coming down to Douglasville Saturday the 29th for the car show? It is supposedly pretty big I guess, over 300 entries. It's called Kruise for Kids.

Thought about grabbing the camera and heading over there.

Just sold the Ranger this afternoon and getting another Bronco is in the works. We had a real good day at the shop.

A 95 I believe. Will post picts as soon as I get it to the shop. Needs some work, getting it from another shop that owes us some cash for work we helped them on.

Got an 04 one ton Larriate with a 6 L diesel. Having some power loss issues while towing.
Can anyone recommend a good diesel shop in the Loganville area?
