Wasn't the last good 'Skins team when John Riggins was Supper Bowl MVP? Supposedly he fell asleep under a table at a White House dinner....

 

This morning is really dragging out............

 

Yeah... I remember that. Big John had a few too many and decided to pull a vanishing act. Wasn't funny then but good for a giggle now. Joe Theisman tried to help the big guy out but coach Gibbs caught him and I think it was either Joe Jacoby or Russ Grim. All got a fine from Gibbs. Headlines couldn't leave it alone either. Those were the days of good teams that had pride and a love for the game. Popa John
