Air pump

Hey everybody. I have an 88 f-150 and i want to remove the air pump, can somebody please tell me everything I have to do. Thanks for any info.

Air pump

I removed the air pump on my '89 F-150 302. Mine locked up however I left it on for a few weeks. You'll need a new belt. I believe the non-ac belt will work fine.

If you decide to remove the air pump make sure your convertor is long gone too otherwise it will get mighty hot.

Also make sure you plug all the lines coming out of the smog pump.
