A little wider tires in the rear, and black out the grille, tint the windows. Anything else would cheese it up in my opinion.I have a 74 F100 just like yours w/ centerline rims, mild build 302 3 spd.Love the 73-79 trucks, had a 79 F250 4X4 that kick my self for selling.

Actually, that grille looks nice. Go with the chrome theme in other places along the sides and maybe some shiny wheels or rings.

These '70's trucks came with chrome accents and they look nice with it. If you want to go all Euro/Ricer (no chrome), buy one those things.

Embrace the chrome Grasshoppa!

It really looks nice though. I'd like to see it in person.

The truck looks great!
My thing is what does the engine compartment look like?
Power wash the engine and clean it up with some paint.
Put wire looms on the wiring .
Maybe paint the inner fenders : my point is the ENTIRE truck should look as good as the exterior.
I hate to look at trucks that have filthy engines -there is no reason for it .
It makes working on the engine a lot more enjoyable when everything is clean !

Lookin' good Vamp!

I'd add a big wing on the back, a fart can muffler, and some NOS stickers. <hehe>

Chrome wheels would be a nice touch. Nothing too wild or flashy, though. Maybe even a chrome ring on those rims like someone else said.

I'm a big fan of side pipes, too. If not, at least dual exhaust.

I just painted my headlight surrounds and grille gloss black. I don't think I like it, though. Since I have blue flames on the hood, I might repaint the parts that color. If not, I'll get replacements and just make headlight covers.

Keep up the good work!

Kevin K.

Ah heck, just go all out and buy a supercharger with a huge blower sticking out of the hood, so big that you have to look out the driver side window to see it! That makes anything look good.
I would probably go with some chrome, and bigger tires, tinted windows, get some performance things for the engine(headers, k&n filter, dual exhaust). But hey, look at my truck, pretty much stock, they look great that way too and then you dont have to put much money in to it!

LOL You'll be glad to know then that my 'restoration' has begun with the engine bay. The body work looks like a piece is crap but under the hood will be clean in a month or two!

I say chrome rims..definately.

Regards
