alternator went out
Hi,someone can help me ?the alternator of my1983- 351w- need a new brushes,it's made motorcraft where I can find ? let me know what is better to do,buy an new one or restore mine? 
meaby need other kit parts?thankyou

I have never been a fan of rebuilding alternators. I personally prefer to buy a re-manufactured one with a life time warranty. HOWEVER, I live here in the good ol' land of milk and honey and can find parts stores on most corners! From your previous posts, it sounds as though American auto parts can be difficult to find in your area. With that in mind, if I were you, I would probably purchase two good rebuild kits from an online retailer and rebuild it yourself. Saves you money, no core charges, can be a better finished product if you do it correctly, and for the same money you would have a spare kit for when this inevitably happens again down the road. This is assuming that you have relative easy access to international shipping and American online auto parts retailers.

,I unknow the amp of my alternator,you all right about the shipping cost to Italy, and w/o the core will be very expencive,have I nice day regards,pace car
