Getting a DIESEL AGAIN!!!!

Hello, its been a long time since I have posted here.
About me...
When I was 20 I bought 3 Uhaul trucks all 7.3 Diesels. I went in half with my brother on a 87 F250 6.9. Then I finally got my own personal 6.9 with a banks turbo and a gear vendors. I was on top of the world. Then I lost all my trucks (moving business went to ****s) and due to $ reasons, I had to sell my personal truck., made 5k off of it. Some guy in Australia bought it (I live in the US) lucky me. I have not owned a car since then... been 1 year, 8 months... Didn't appreciate them that much then, but I sure as hell do now. I love Diesels. I was very sad to see my truck go, but focused on getting my life back together.

I was debating on getting a wrangler. Now I am thinking about buying a 1993 Conversion Van. Its a 7.3 IDI Banks Turbo. I have never owned a van, but heres my situation...

1. I am opening a Martial Arts school so I figured I'd get Decals on it, get my logo on both sides, on the tire cover on the back and on the front hood maybe.

2. During my last 2 years of being broke and being dumped for being a loser, moving back in with parents at 25 and going nowhere I spent my 18 months in my room starting by moving business all over again. My hard work paid off as its growing again. Point is, that I want to use this Van as my mobile office as well and install 2 computers.

3. I have friends saying that I should get the jeep because this one will waste a lot of fuel etc... But the thing is, that even a 4 cylinder Wrangler gets about 18-22 MPG from what I am reading. This Van (according to the current owner) gets 16MPG while towing. He said hes never driven it without towing something so I can imagine it should be at 20MPG? I sure hope so.

4. As a Martial Arts instructor/owner I want to be able to drive to tournaments and take some of my students and buddies in my car. That should save me some $ as they will pitch in.

To be completely honest, I don't know if I am trying to justify getting that Van subconsciously or what. But I do know that I have been looking at Jeeps for 2 months now, convinced that a Wrangler is what I wanted. But as of 3 days ago (when I saw the van) I have not been able to stop thinking about it and all I can do with it. Install computers, television, mini fridge etc...

I was wondering if you guys could give me some input, please be honest. I don't know exactly what to do. The van looks like its in great shape and I have not been able to find another Diesel van in good condition like this one.

The price of the 1997 Jeep that I want is $5500
The price of the 1993 Van you is $4800. (is that a fair price, what do you think?)
