Hey guys, for those of you with lifted trucks, this is a must! There are several companies with comparable products, Bestop and AMP being the bigger names, but anyway you serve it up, these steps are great!
Though you all may enjoy a video.
I am not promoting this company, nor advertising for them, just showing you a video I made for the step itself. I have no ties with them as of now.
Average 280 lbs? I bet it would hold ya. It appears to be aluminum which would flex some without breaking. If your 280 you'd definately benefit from a step. haha.
I'm 6'3". I normally just step on the 35" tire and I'm in the bed. That step would be nifty though. It's just hard to find products that'll withstand my weight without scary flexing
Although this is my personal truck, I am filming this video. I wish I was as skinny as my friend. As of July I was in the 280+ range as well.. no flex that i know of... I am at 250 now, so I am a little less worried
My only gripe on the step is it slamming against the bumper.
I had this same issue. I do not believe it does hit your bumper however. Mine has been on for 6-7 months now, and there are no signs of wear on the bumper. I did have the case of it hitting the bumper when I first got it, possibly they did not have it 100% just yet as my truck was so new, but they sent out a spacer of sorts, and I have not had any issues yet.

Mine does not hit the bumper either.
I wonder if loosening up the bumper mounting bolts on both side and put a little upward pressure on it, then tighten everything back up would cure the problem for A/Ox4?
