1996 Bronco, 5.8L OBDII emissions.
Trouble code is PO401 which the book says is "exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected"
seems to be running fine, but I want to fix it.
Any ideas on where to start? Is this the EGR valve maybe?
Well, ah, hmmmmm.
Popped the hood and it looks like the little vacuum line on top of the EGR valve decided to work it's way off.
Cleared the codes and I'll see if it comes back on.
It's been a couple of weeks since I was under there, doing an oil change and cleaning the engine. No idea how that happened.
