Life's next adventure, and continuing to enjoy this one and work on it. Looking at dropping the front end over the winter, and an axle swap perhaps.

There's still plenty to do between then and now, and my boat hasn't even touched water yet this summer (will be fixing that tomorrow).

Stopped at a local car show this morning, was able to get some more minor things done since last post but am looking forward to getting my new seat and getting it installed next. Still figuring out what to do with doors, I want to use the factory style panels from the 5star but had to swap out my doors for ones in better shape but not 5 star... might try my hand at doing my own in the meantime.

They put a picture of the truck on their website.

Grabbed a few shots at a coney on woodward. Cars were out all last weekend and the big show is this weekend.

After a few tanks had been spent I got around to rechecking things, and I can see why things go more wrong when people skip that...
so far I found both engine mount bolts, the trans kickdown bracket nut, and 3 nuts on the rear axle u-bolts loosened....
Probably going to be spending the day looking for more, but it just goes to show these things don't really ever get "finished" until they are scrap.

The truck looks great. Nice staging for the pictures. Too bad you lost the bolts that held the front bumper on.

Got the second set of speakers and door panels installed

also found about 2 dozen bolts that took more than a quarter turn, and worked out other bugs.

While your checking on bolts, etc. - take a look at the ones that hold your glove box hinges to the dash. They should be slotted pan head screws with the nuts on the inside of the glove box.
You wouldn't want someone special to scrape a knee on those! - Bob

yellow plug wires finally bugged me enough to do something, will eventually go back and shorten a wire or 2 to clean it up.

Spent some time under the truck checking fittings, line routing, etc.

Still trying to convince myself I need to spend the money on a drop axle, and take on the rear axle changeout.
