The paper was only 3 years old, so it was still flexible, and I was able to pull it whole. Then soapy water and a shaving blade of the old type worked like a charm to remove the remaining glue from the windows.

This weekend I was also able to break off my antenna while travelling to a beach (pictures soon)... darn hanger vegetation... Anyway, it was time for a new one, I will need a new complete assembly.

It was more like a liana hanging from a tree. Anyway, I'm tired of losing those darn antennas, I'll install a 14" one, once I find a suitable mount.

You should look for one similar to mine Encho. It has the spring on the bottom mainly for those cases. They are expensive if you get one new but they were used for the CB/radio combo into 1 antenna and as far as i know it brings pretty good reception. You just can't attack antenna ***** or things like that.

I was actually looking at a 14" one. But one of those with a coil could work too. Can you guys link some of those?.

Shoot, i'm sorry Encho but i can't seem to find any links... I snagged mine from a junkyard and i thought i recalled seeing them somewhere like bronco graveyard but i can't find it anymore. Another thing you could do is find a shorty antenna, they can be like 6" tall or even less and still get ok reception. My parents use them on their mustangs but i prefer the long flexible antenna i have. It's an idea.

As for TGM i fixed the driveline issue. It was amazing to see how bad the old bolts looked. I went down to my local Fastenal and picked up 4 grade 8 bolts that fit perfectly. Then to top that off i slapped some thread lock to hopefully make sure this issue doesn't happen again. Once i get my pictures onto my photo bucket i will upload a few here and on my PJ:TGM thread.

Finished with the portable garage. The Bronco will at least be out of the weather. Now I should be able to putter at will over the winter.

Alright as promised, here are a few pics of the bolts i replaced.

You can see the condition of the threads. It wasn't real good.

New bolts. Grade 8.

This is what the DL looked like. I drove around with it like this for a while.

The way the new bolts fit. They tighten all the way down nice and snug. I haven't driven it other than to move it out of the garage and into it's respective gravel pit.

I am happy to have done this, i feel a lot safer with these new bolts in.
