annoying web issue
Every now and trhen, I'll hit back on my browser ( IE), and it won't go back.
So, I check the history, and there's a whole potful of the same name -sometimes so many that I can't really get back to the last place that way.
Used to see one called doubleclick googleheads or something like that, but now there are different ones.
Generally happens on fte and a couple of news sites.
And I Norton and spybot on a weekly basis.
Anybody know what the deal is?
Thanks,
hj
What happens is when you view a web site that has multiple things your viewing like pictures it creates a page for each one.. When you step back it changes, but the page looks the same
All you have to do is look at the history and select the last one to jump back many pages at a time or view the full history and select the site you started at..
I CAN always get back one way or another. Hadn't considered using the full history however.
Try as I might I can't launch any reps your way.
Thanks again,
hj

Download and use Google Chrome for a few days and the speed it loads web pages alone will convince you it's better than IE, and that doesn't count the better stability and security.
