Make sure you have voltage on the common colored wire that feeds the injectors. You will have two common wires, both the same color that feed all the injectors.

This diagram says it's a red wire that comes from the EEC relay.. AutoZone.com Repair Guide Image. 20: 1986 F-Series pick-up and Bronco, section two
It's not even trying? Take and hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank it, and see what happens. This will put the computer in the "clear flooded engine" mode and turn the fuel off to the injectors.

I burnt out the starter relay and replaced it. Still would not start. Did what you said and wham! Fired right up. Now starts with ease. I was going crazy. A big thank you.
