The guys got me AirLift Ultimate kit. The compressor/controller are all in one unit. It's a big enough unit that it won't fit above the spare like individual compressor/controllers have done in past trucks.
So we mounted it directly in front of that cross member that forms the shelf above the spare. I suspect the outer ring of the tire will be right under the unit. I'll get a photo today. It's still up on the lift with the tires off, So it's easy to get a photo of, even for guy with trying to recovery from knee replacement. that is the reason I let the diesel brothers do this. There was no way I getting on my hands and knees and crawling under this truck to work on it. My knees are getting better, but I'm NOT CRAWLING on them yet.

About 5-6" so far, allegedly another 3 or so coming. At least it's not very cold. May have to wake up the old antique later and clear the driveway. I have not poked my nose outside yet to be sure.

That looks beautiful Eric. We did get down to 34 this morning with some frost which ought to help the oranges. Up in the mid 50's this evening and sunny with no wind.

I mounted mine in the bed. The road salt and deicing chemicals just destroyed my last compressor. I don't use the bed as much as you likely do, so I think I'm ok.

Cold by our standards down here also. Had to put the heater on this morning so the wife could get ready for work.

Don, what kind of furnace do you have there, electric or wood or natural gas or propane ????/

Eric, I hope that all melts by the time you're ready to go outside, good luck.

Jon, I agree, that's a job for the diesel brothers ..........

welcome to December boys, I'll be glad when the year and winter is over

where's Roy

Andre, those deicing chemicals are worse than salt I think ....... yuck

I got off the hook, no snow blower operation today. It quit snowing since the pics. When I was 12, would have spent all day rolling around in this. It is perfect snowball snow. Also perfect for snow forts and snowmen. Alas, I don't have the same desire to do those things anymore. Shoveled the deck and a little in front of the garage and called it good enough.

It does snow here off and on between now and late April. Not a lot the last few years, but you never know. 50 miles east of here they get persistent lake effect snow off of Lake Erie, 2-3 times as much as we get.

Customer we had when I was working was based in Mentor. They were always complaining about the snow off the lake.

Compressor above spare tire

I put the intake filter behind the back seat so it’s sucking in cabin air

Here is the airbag on driver side the boys did a really clean install

the leveling kit raised the front 2.5” so I’m sitting almost perfectly level with 10 psi of air in bags

steering wheel is slightly off. So I’m at Les Schwab now to get alignment snd recenter steering wheel

that may be the extent of my modifications until find some work can’t spend like a drunken sailor if it’s all coming out of savings.
