So the boys started football mini camp today. They are only on the next 4 Wednesdays and in the mornings. They do weight on Tuesday and Thursday as well. I can't believe how early they get them going. Times changed a lot since I played. They are enjoying it so that is all that matters to me.
My girls team disbanded. We couldn't get enough to play this Spring so we are going to join the recreational league. The girls that remained committed to the team took it pretty hard, but at least they are playing. I was disappointed as well, but we play 11 v 11 and only had 10 players committed. Last season I had 18 on the roster and had a hard time getting 12 to show up to games. I wasn't even going to try with 10 and be short a player with a 100% participation. No way. We should have fun playing Rec League. I think it was just hard because a lot of the girls are coming off the long High School season and they want to enjoy summer. I understand it, but it stinks for the 10 girls that were disappointed last night.

Good morning Savage truckers!
Sorry to hear about the team Andre. We've had so much rain, we've already missed six baseball games and multiple practices. We're now at the point of not having enough kids show up for the make-up games. The season should have been over with about four weeks ago and now most families are trying to go on vacation. It makes it tough to try to get anything done and it's hard on the kids who do show up ready to play.
The football camp sounds great. Our daughter and son are getting ready to start a basketball camp at Virginia Tech next week and it's always a blast for them.

Woman:
Do you drink beer?<O</O
Man: Yes
Woman:
How many beers a day?
Man:
Usually about 3
Woman:
How much do you pay per beer?
Man: $5.00 which includes a tip
Woman:
And how long have you been drinking?
Man:
About 20 years, I suppose
Woman:
So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 …correct?
Man:
Correct
Woman:
If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past
20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct?
Man:
Correct
Woman:
Do you know that if you didn't drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting<O></O>
for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari?
Man:

Woman:
No

Where's your Ferrari?<O</O

Me too.....
Our neighbor out at the lake has been coming out there for 52 years. He says the lake has NEVER been this high. Aparently, the county is going to have to do something about it because it is about to flood the road at the east end of the lake . It is up 4" more since I put my pier in 2 weeks ago. They (the county) said it will be down a foot by fall, I have no idea how.
It was hilarious when I pulled in with the new pier stands. Everyones are too short. I had about 10 guys come over and say how much and how quick
