You now, just when you think you got things figured out, life throws a curve ball at you...

We had decided to put off buying a house until either late summer or next year for a variety of reasons. Main one being I haven't found anything I like on the market. Second reason, waiting we would be able to afford more house so we could get something we liked. And yesterday, my landlord says she has to sell the house we are in so we have to leave by the end of our lease term. (July 31).

It's a tough market here - I could move out of town again, but then we are back to the commute problem. One highway in/out... And last year that highway seemed like it was always closed. Even the one by me that I can, but don't have to take, is closed down often. It's just I have a ton of alternate ways I can go.

Buy the house you're in ..... Cheap !!....

One door closes......another opens. Really, I do believe that is true.

Howdy Tim,

Work is still really slow. Been doing a lot of shooting actually. 3,000 down the new pistol in the last month of 2. Took black badge course IPSC (USPSA kinda) qualifier. Placed first in my match. Fist level 2 qualifier I shoot this Sunday.

Also tried 3 gun, it was a lot of fun. 8 of 30 my first time (with a real crappy shotgun).

Trap club is open for the season so I am shooting trap Wed nights. Still suck at that 5,000 rounds later but it's still fun
Nothing better to pass the time than burning powder.

Reloading bench is pretty full these days

Speaking of shooting....Seems last weekend, there was a bachelor party out of town(near us), and the guys touched off a fairly large dose of Tannerite commonly available at Cabela's: Sonic Boom 4-Pack Exploding Target : Cabela's

But it must have been a large enough quantity that it got folks excited 10 miles away.... Been all over the news around here. I'm sure there were some pants to be cleaned at the site it happened. I'm guessing the outcome was a lot larger than expected.

Needless to say the cops are looking for them.

Nice setup Darren. How do you like that stand under the Rock Chucker? I have that same press, but have not mounted it yet.

I really like it for re loading standing up. I had the press on the bench but it was way too low for me and I spend a lot of time on that press. I would not go back!
