That sucks, Rodney.

We have pretty loose gun laws here in Nevada(though we're probably going to get universal background checks in November). We also have no state income tax.

Lots of jobs in MT near Roy for my bride but too far to move with aging family in the area. Maine works but far less jobs and the logistics of moving are mind boggling. When you're young and live out of a backpack, life is simple. Trying to move your whole life is overwhelming. Although there is one job at a hospital right on the Maine coast. Very appealing...

Try the logistics of moving 4 from Miami to Anchorage.... I know exactly what you are going through.

I have GOT to move to Maine...
Unconstitutional is the only word that describes a retro-active law...

Afternoon guys. All setup at the lake. First time in my life I've been told I'm "out of stroke"!! Had to put 8&10" blocks under jacks to get her level, but here we are.

Howdy gang.

Andre, hopefully your friend isn't targeting an audience with what is being said and he is being genuine. If he is being genuine, he will need your help for sure. Hope he turns it around.

Don, enjoy the visit with family and safe travels.

Roy, try not to work too hard fixing up the place.

Rodney, I opened the link to the story, but haven't had opportunity to read it yet. From what you are saying about it though, that totally SUCKS!

Monty, take along the single dose packs of the little blue friend along on these trips. Remember, if your camper stays level for more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention! Looking forward to more campfire pics - although at 100° right now, I would rather see pics of a snowman.

Gerry, Brett, Dak and all, hope you have a great evening!

We always thought of you as the felon of the group anyway. She has simply clarified!
It is amazing they don't grandfather stuff like that so as to avoid turning people into felons with the stroke of a pen, because something that was legal one day, was not the next.

They said they are grandfathering it "for now" but left specific language in the directive stating they reserve the right to change that in the future. I called my realtor today.

Evidently they know what you have. Anyway to "transfer" it out of state through a person to person "sale"? Texas comes to mind, since you have a friend or two there who also happen to have a crapload of guns.
In the article, she says that if you bought your gun before Wednesday, you were ok.
