Yeah Daren, as the plane was picking up speed down the runway to leave, there were 500 Seabees cheering it on. When it lifted off, we all applauded. We were all so happy to be headed home, that we didn't notice the extremely long time we were stuck on the plane. We were glad to be allowed to get off of the plane at JFK though. There was a line of OD green uniforms from the gate all the way to the bar. That was the best beer I have ever had!
You still didn't say what you will drink during weeks 2 and 3.

Afternoon folks, trying to stay current here, but it's useless!
Andre, I believe your son will excel with the more advanced group, I've found with my kids, they do alot better when they're challenged. I know your son is doing great now, I feel he'll do alot better with the better team!
..Doug, to answer the question on the trees, we had planted ~80 acres in 1983 (IIRC) so, 32 years (+/-) they were thinned twice in that time. We're planning to replant 65 acres or so.
Y'all have a good one, just stopped in while getting some lunch, boss lady has me running pretty hard today!

Darren, considering your description earlier of how busy his shop is, I'm surprised to see things that far apart. Even though it looks like you're going backward, it is still progress, and with what you spent for purchase, and the cost of the rebuild, I think you'll still have real value when he finishes it up. That thing's gonna be a hoss!

I recall when Darren was buying it, he very clearly said something along the lines of he was planning on hauling other people's stuff for them, so that tells me he isn't planning to loan out the trailer, but will help you move your crap for free.
Agreed Mitch. I am so sick of his BS. Maybe if all of the students were required to carry, none of this would ever happen, or maybe only a couple would go down before the bad guy ate it. Criminals already don't respect the law that says it is illegal to murder, so why would they give a rat's **** about a law that says you can't have a gun? As the bumper sticker says, "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.". I guess I will instantly change from law abiding citizen to outlaw with the stroke of a pen.
