I don't think we will hear from Roy for a bit. Where he is going is the land of no cell phone service or internet.

 

Even though it was called that early on, and I haven't heard any sort of "official" correction, the puke is from Kuwait, (another illiterate who couldn't read the "Gun Free Zone" sign) and I saw mention that something (emails?) may have tied ISIS to it.

Obama, of course, doesn't know anything about it, yet. He'll fill us in tomorrow, after he reads about it in the newspaper...

The only friend we have in the Middle East is Israel - and Obama's doing his worst to fix that. If he can't make them hate us, he'll settle for getting them wiped out.

He is certainly ticking off Israel - but I still think Israel can fend for itself and in the past we have held them back from wiping out countries in the Middle East.

IMHO, there will never be peace in the middle east. The fights and wars have being going on since Jesus was wearing sandles. Actually, before that, since it is really 5575 on the Jewish calendar.

Howdy Guys.........

Been a busy day.........
As I mentioned this morning......We stayed in Anchorage today.
Laundry got done......Went to Sam's Club and purchased two 6 volt batteries. Installed the 6 volt batteries where the old pair had been......They, of course get connected in series to make one big 12 volt battery. Then the two new large 12 volt batteries got put in the front compartment where the inverter is located. They get connected in parallel along with the "big 12 Volt" battery. Now we should have enough battery capacity to go for days without the generator or shore power.
No sooner than I finish with that and we lose power on this area of the base. WE have been without power for 2 1/2 hours now.......
Tested the new installation for 15 mins.....then started up the generator. We need fully charged batteries when we leave in the morning.

Filled the truck with diesel.........$300 worth........ $3.32 per gallon.

Filled up the fresh water tank on the 5th wheel......packed up everything outside........Dump gray & black water tanks in the morning ....hitch up and go..........

 

I missed it Roy where are you headed now?

 

I thought he might come to Hattiesburg, Ms. Before it gets cold! I came inside @20:30 & it was still 90° outside..........

 

Mitch that is too hot for the day time let alone at night.

Sure it does, it got down 70° last winter!

 

Cold starts at 30*F and goes down from there. Above 30, it is cool until you hit 60...then warm until 75......then hot !!

 

Yeah, I think you're right....the humidity is the killer. Like trying to breathe soup the last few days.
