I got black this time because of the temps up here, black is hotter tempwise and for once in my life that is a good thing. Also, because it stands out in the winter when I keep it clean. White and silver tend to blend in. Silver is way worse. (Not meant to offend anyone with a silver vehicle)

Mine wouldn't be silver if I hadn't bought it used
Had a black truck when I lived on a gravel road. Never again. I could wash it at the house and it would look horrible before I got to the next sideroad, especially in the spring, then it looked like a black and tan. Thankfully it was stolen
Here's what a mile and a half of wet sideroads did to my bike. I rode with my legs hooked up on the tank.
No color is the perfect answer. My wife has a white car which was good for Florida. It looks horrible in the winter up here too...
Yeah, black is probably more a PITA. But since the truck sits outside, it helps absorb heat and melt snow. Her white car wasn't doing that as well.
I am at the point of really not caring about how it looks on the outside. I wash it when I can and then I wax it so when I wash it, it is a little easier. Sometimes just a hose washing works.
I'll have to dig out my pictures of the vehicles totall covered in mud driving and that is just driving around here - not going or trying to go off road. The mud gets so thick you can't even read the license plates.
Roy - Have fun, I did those parties too. If you went as the clown you wouldn't have to change clothes though. Wouldn't that be easier?
Come out swinging huh Dak?
Evening Gents. Yard work around here today, beautiful weather, sunny and mid 60's! Low, low humidity, for around here anyway.
I saw that earlier, did you read any of the comments? Alot of them were definitely products of today's public education.
On a serious note, anything the libs can do to make more money, has nothing to do with the environment. And you have the azz bags that make video's of "rolling coal" to thank for this latest **** proposal.

This is what is going to get everyone's attention and get that bill through.
The comments are hilarious.... And the graphics posted are not safe for work (or this blog).

You are right about that. Hopefully I don't offend anyone here, but rolling coal is completely ridiculous. Not talking about a small amount of soot here and there, I've seen idiots around here that try to black out a whole city block.
I'm still going to delete the truck though.......hopefully not to be reinstalling it in a month.
Older diesels will smoke until the turbo catches up to the fuel. They should be exempt. The rest of the idiots who roll coal and think its funny, you can blame legislation like this on them.
A 2007 6.0 does not roll coal unless its super cold and therefore nothing newer should have visible smoke either.
