Mistakes would be covered - at least here...

Most of the time, they have to fix them, them self, until it become evident there is incompetence... I don't know any Canadian construction attorneys, but I do know a bunch down here...

I guess winter, garage, and new truck the time frame isn't as important without the new truck!

Gerry, I feel your pain brother, makes you want to strangle folks for sure. It seems the contractor has it their way, it will eventually work out, for me at least, it never happens fast enough.

I'm sorry to hear about the **** poor contractor. I often wonder how one finds a good one when picking. It seems to be a crap shoot.

Gerry - Your garage looks amazing. Probably because you are keeping on them to make it right...

Gerry......Really hate to hear of the contractor problems.

Your lawyer is a good move.

This is one of the big reasons I do my own work. Then I end up with too much to get done by myself. No good solution........

EDIT: Have you tried to reason with the contractor..?? Be better than court.

I don't have the time or talent for large renovations such as that. Just seems when you pay someone, they'd at least try to do a good job. It amazes me how many cutthroats are still in business down here.

Hi Guys,

Gerry, Sorry to hear about your contractor, father Roy has a good idea on trying to reason with the contractor.

Maria and I have been married for 21 years this last May. Gotta run Maria just put on a movie.

Last night I had a dream about mufflers and straight pipes. Man, I am just exhausted today.
