1st of all, I LOVE my truck. I've had it for 3 years, it's an 88 F150 2wd 300. The 300 runs great. It has been taken care of. The body itself is alright, but starting to deteriate. The bed is rusting at the fenders, go figure. The tail gate has some rust. The fenderwell is actually rusting over the tire inside of the bed. Before I bought it, the guy's wife that had it before me scraped the side of the bed against something and left about a 1 1/2 foot crease. It was a work truck, so the bed all around is pretty beat up. So pretty easy right, change the bed. However, I think I'm going to customize my truck. What do you guys think about switching to a 94-96 front clip. Fenders, headlights, grille, etc. The doors are giving me a hard time, but nothing a little sanding, bondo and miracle paint primer won't take care of. The cab itself is in excellent condition. I want to drop in bucket seats, aftermarket or out of a bronco/van. It's an XL, so I want to put in carpet. So the question is this, what could these parts cost? Any suggestion, idea?
Thanks
Dave
It can be done, but, I don't understand why you'd want a fake 92-96 truck.....
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .
That's it for mods now, saving for a Stang. Check out my Gallery for a look-see.

If someone likes the truck enough but wants that "new" truck feel,
change body parts on it to get that "new" feel.
