New guy here, to OBS F150's, not to Ford's

Hey guys, just picked up a '95 F150 Single Cab/Eight Foot Bed with a 351W in it. Truck looks like its been taken care of, has a brand new 4" Suspension Lift & 32x11.5x15 Cooper STT's. Its from Virginia so its not like the rot boxes up here in Buffalo. Sold my Ranger about a month ago (which was also from Virginia) had to move up to a Full Size. Here's a couple pictures of the truck, should be here in about a week or so, I'm having it shipped up here. Cheers..

Make sure to keep it clean and garaged if possible because that is simply a beautiful truck. Did you pay the full $8,900?

I was able to get him to move on the price quite a bit, I couldn't find any older Ford that were this pristine. I'm pumped, since I turned 16 all I wanted was a single cab 8ft OBS Ford. Just took me 6 years but I got one. My new daily driver

Haha yep!

Did these trucks come with dual shocks up front or is that part of the lift? I remember old Broncos having them in the early 80's as a selling feature

Sure is a nice looking truck. Dual shocks were an option. I see someone has already converted to manual hubs, which is good. Do yourself a favor and convert from the push button 4wd to the manual. And swap the lift blocks for springs.

That's the only thing I don't like, wish it was a manual T case, more reliable. Is it hard to swap? Last truck had Auto Hubs when I bought it, put lock outs on the first week I had it haha

Shouldn't be hard. I've never done the swap but I think it's pull one and stick in the other. I do know it'll bolt to your transmission. I think the plug for the 4x4 sensor is either the same or already there.

Different kits give different results as far as actual lift achieved, plus it could have settled more than others depending on the use of the truck and age and quality of the springs use. Also the different tire and wheel combos can have different actual heights and widths.
