Holley red pump noise question

Holley red pump noise question
I have a 1987 F250 Diesel N/A 6.9 Diesel and put a Holley Red Fuel pump on to replace the manual pump. I've used other electric fuel pumps in the past and none have been loud enough to hear but the Holley Red makes enough noise to hear over the Diesel noise. Does anybody have this noise or am I the only one. I've even had other people ask "What's that noise"? It is the pump because if I turn off the pump I get no noise at all. I have the pressure set at between 6&7 psi if that makes a difference.
