before you say it yes i searched this first but i couldnt find anything on idis about the subject,im sure this is a glow plug issue out of a rough guess, im very close to buying a 93 idi and the guy said it wont start unless you spray ether into it but once it cranks its fine till it cools off, he thinks its got an issue holding fuel pressure, any thoughts?
if you go to get glowplugs out and they wont come fo get a nut from Napa, etc that fits the glow-plug threads, 10mm I think
cut nut in half and use wrench, pliers, etc to hold nut together while using a socket to make the glowplug keep unthreading
did you do a continuity test or OHm test on the glow-plugs?
how long does your gp light stay on when cold?
By the way there is no issue, he's a complete idiot and jinks it starts like a gasser, I told him shot the wait to start and it starts right up, he has no clue about diesels, the ignorance is painful honestly
