yet again - another newbie and '63 unibody!

I hope all you regulars don't mind another newbie first post and '63 unibody story! I just retired from the Twin Cities Assembly Plant in St. Paul, MN this spring when Ford decided to quit the Ranger production and closed the plant down. I bought my truck this spring but haven't had alot of time to work on it yet - our daughter just got married and we had alot of landscaping around the house to take care of first.
I changed the oil and checked the brakes to make sure it was road-worthy, but found out there's wiring issues to take care of first. I removed the huge bucket seats the previous owner had installed (they covered up most of the big rear window) and installed a bench seat. I purchased a heavy duty "horse blanket" seat cover to use until we are far enough along to get the seat reupholstered.
I've learned alot so far by just cruising these forums, but I'm sure there's many questions I will be asking in the future. Thanks for your time and I hope someday to actually contribe useful information.
Take care -
Kevin
