5.4l mpg/chip
So I'm looking to purchase a 2004 f250 SD. I'm using it for winter to travel to and from college, about 40 miles one-way. I know you dont buy a truck for the mileage, but what can i expect to get with it on the highway? And would an Economy chip be worth the money? I've heard good things about hypertech?

Realistically, you're looking at 12-15 MPG average. Yours will be on the low side because of the lift and tires.
A tune (not a chip) will help a little. Call 5 Star and get a custom tune done. Much better than a canned tune.
