engine, trans swap
I have two trucks. one is a 73 F100 short wide with a 360 ci and 4 speed 4x4. My other is a 75 F100 long bed 390 ci with auto 4x4.
I have question. Can I take that automatic from the 390 and mount it to a 302 ci. ? If I can, I plan to put it into the 73.

Yeah I knew the differance 390 302 big block small block. I was just hoping that there may be an addapter plate or something out there that would let me do it. oh well.

I did not know about the FE, windsor differance. Thanks for the info.
Is there no kind of addapter out there? Could one be made?
