Just under one year and 12,500 miles, with 4K accounted for during a long mountain summer trip in constant 100-degree temps running AC the entire time. No problems during the trip or any other time over the year. Love the truck. Only item I've noticed is a hard down-shift on occasion when stopping short.

Bill.

You are not suppose to tow anything until you have 1000 miles on the truck!!!!!

I have 380 miles on my 2012 xlt. I just got it back from my Ford dealer. I took it in for brake pulse, hard shifting and very rough idle in gear. They turned the rotors . I am not real happy to have a new truck with turned rotors but Ford would not replace them with new ones. The technician verified the other two problems but could not find a fix. He contacted Ford technician line. There response was some 3.5l do it and some do not. Now I have a 40k truck that shakes and bangs into gear. I should have kept my old 5.4l.

35k on mine. Had a loose tranny sensor plug or something, and the clutch packs in the rear end. Loose nut behind the wheel is constantly affecting mpg, so I can't say much in favor of that

Just crossed 72,000 on my '11

Have a persisting problem I'm actually on the forum looking for today. The truck has now been in 3 times for the misfire / limp mode issue. Last night it almost killed me or someone else in a passing situation so I've about had it.

Repairs so far:
-Several coil packs
-Full set of plugs
-Single plug
-Left cat
-Flash

Each time it seems to work fine for awhile and then I start to feel a little miss and eventually it gets so bad I have to take it in. Tough to give up my mobile office for even a day.

Two EB's here....

I have 2 early build '11 EB trucks; a Platinum and an FX4, both 4x4s.
Zero problems with the engine in either of them, the Plat has almost 50k miles on it and the FX4 has 27k. My fuelly account shows the trip computer to be a little optimistic on both of them but fuellys current readings for the trucks are: FX4 18.0 mpg and Platinum (with 3:55 gears) 18.5 mpg.
The only repair to report is on the Platinum - the fuel door lost its spring tension and I replaced the whole fuel door assy for $72 in parts. Was an easy repair, taking only 30 minutes from start to finish.

Zero issues with the ecoboost

17K miles/7 months. 3.5K towing (one trailer at 7000#, the other 12,750# for 450 miles). The ecoboost is amazing! Only down shifted once while towing the heavy trailer to the U.P., the Green Bay bridge. So much torque! Tows like a diesel, but much easier on the wallet. Not a single issue with the 3.5L. Added Firestone Air Bags in the rear to get rid of the 5mph shutter. Getting 16.7 mpg in suburban driving with constant #1200 cargo in a commercial cap almost the same height as cab of truck, highway getting 17-20.8 mpg. Would love to see what it would do unloaded without cap

2012 ecoboost screw 4X4 157" wheelbase (6.5' box), maxtow, #7700 package, red candy, 3:73 e-lock, ARE commercial cap, Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags

what no listing for the 1.6 L I4's? 6 weeks we've run up 3.000 miles on a 1.6, 31 mpg highway 27 city, not one drop down from full on the oil stick

20k in one year of nearly full throttle red lining miles and not a single problem with my Edge EB. Motor and car seem bullet proof. I've owned several Ford trucks in my life and none of them felt this solid. I think it's because the Edge might really be a Mazda? I get between 28 and 32 mpg depeding on tailwind or headwind.

You probably need the latest tsb for the intercooler condensation issue, the latest tsb gets you a new intercooler that can't get that issue

46k and the truck has been in 1 time for a bad speaker. Its the wife's truck and on average she gets around 17-18mpg running around town. Have not towed anything behind it yet, but i did lower the gooseneck horse trailer over the rear axle and got way more squat than i was comfortable with.
Overall very nice truck with no complaints.
