I had my Lower Ball Joints replaced. They were replaced with Moog number K8695T. The shop that did it pressed them in and out, reinstalled everthing, and did an alignment. Unfortunately, they didn't seat the boots on the ball joints very well. I went out to try and seat them, and managed to, but not without ripping the rubber slightly so that grease will come out of a small hole if you push on the boot. I tried to get new boots from Moog, but they don't sell the boots alone, I'd have to buy new ball joints just for the boots. I did find a set of aftermarket tie rod dust boots from Daystar that supposedly will work, I just have to knock the ball joint out of the spindle, swap the boots, and bolt it back up. Has anyone ever tried these?

Ugh, don't remind me. I checked the boots again tonight. They aren't in too rough of shape, but it irks me a bit knowing that they are not in tip top condition.
