I had considered doing a 12v in my cc originally. Check this site fordcummins.com - Increase Horsepower with Ford Cummins Diesel conversion kits. For $25 you can order their install instructions. It tells you everything you need to know. I know the trans crossmember has to be moved back 2 or 3 inches, and the drive shafts will have to be cut to fit if you keep the fan on the engine, which they recommend you do.

Also fordcummins.com has some decent info and i think will sell an install manual.i dont know if it would be worth while but hey,worth checking into.

I almost kept my 12v for my 96.... but i just couldnt go that ....

Thanks for the info guys..I had seen that manual and I'm guessing its something I should pick up and read through a few times before I jump into this.

Thanks for the help.... I'm surprised how few people have done this for gas trucks....

As a matter of fact, i just found this. Over 50 pages of detailed, step by step, and every problem he ran into swapping a 01 CR into a 93. Here she is, i think this is what your looking for. Ive learned more than i thought i would by page 5.
